Here are some comments from those who attended. It was great to see some many groups from many different campaigns and organisations coming together under the theme of land justice and the Commons.
I really loved it! Massive congratulations to you and the team who put it together. I particularly like that is was an event in the community and that anyone could stumble across. Reaching new audiences is what its all about. My only regret was not being able to attend any talks, but I shouldn’t have come alone! The food and music was very much appreciated.
I am just writing to say thank you for organizing such a wonderful, amazing event and for inviting us to speak. It couldn’t have been more perfect – the weather, the crowd, the workshops in the lovely marquee, the stalls, the music and of course our lovely local, community run park. It was a fantastic idea to have this event outside. We had a constant stream of interesting people stopping by at our stall to look at our materials, ask questions and make inquiries about workshops – and the people from the 56a infoshop took lots of our fliers to display in their shop. We enjoyed meeting the other groups and the leisurely time to chat at their stallse. I am already looking forward to the next one.
