One of the most important issues around the questions Land for what? Land for Whom? is how we make decisions about how land is used. Currently they are made by the landowner and the impersonal forces of the market, with some regulation by the government. However, these decisions are much too important to be left to private interests or a government that may not always be concerned with the needs of ordinary people and communities. So how do we involve everyone in decision-making? This seminar series organised by the People’s Land Policy addressed this issue. Have a look and listen!
