Talk for Scottish Wildlife Trust Edinburgh

I talked to a group of about 35 people at the meeting on Thursday. They were many very experienced and knowledgeable people present so it was interesting to hear their comments and questions. Here is a link to my presentation:

I will be talking about my book and related issues at a meeting of the SWT this Thursday, the 22nd, in Edinburgh. I joined last year after visiting their Loch of the Lowes site in Perthshire. I was in the bird hide when one of the staff came rushing in to tell us about this sighting of a pinemartin just outside. Their enthusiasm for our enjoyment was much appreciated.

The impression I get from talking to people is that the SWT has a reputation for being locally managed with strong connections to the community. It will be interesting to discuss the issues around community-led conservation and land reform.
